Approval times can vary depending on your application. Some applicants may be asked to make a test part, which will need to be completed, shipped, and inspected. In general, the process can take anywhere from 3-15 business days.

Xometry offers a wide variety of work, from prototypes to full-scale production, across industries like aerospace, automotive, medical, consumer products, and defense. Partners can access opportunities in CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, 3D printing, and more.

The types of jobs you see also depend on your certifications and activity level within the platform. Shops that complete their first few jobs quickly and maintain strong performance typically gain access to higher-complexity, higher-value work sooner.

You can use the Feedback feature in Workcenter to share why a job didn’t work for your shop. This helps us better match jobs to your facility’s capabilities in the future.

Certifications such as ITAR registration, AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and CMMC Level 1+ can further expand the range of job types and industries available to your shop.

New jobs are added daily, thousands each week, giving you constant access to fresh opportunities that match your shop’s capabilities.

Partners with certifications often earn more in our network because they can take on more complex, higher-value work and move up faster. Certifications such as ITAR, AS9100, ISO 9001, CMMC Level 1 or 2, and IATF open the door to advanced opportunities and greater earning potential.

To update your certifications and capabilities, log in to Workcenter, click the gear icon ⚙️ in the upper-right corner, and select Shop Capabilities. From there, you can easily add or update your certifications, materials, processes, and equipment so your shop is eligible for more jobs.

Yes. You have full control over the jobs you take. Browse available work, review the details, and accept only the projects that fit your schedule, capabilities, and pricing goals.

FastPay allows you to receive payouts for completed jobs sooner than the standard payout schedule, for a nominal fee. You can choose FastPay when you mark a job as complete, giving you greater flexibility to manage cash flow and keep work moving.

We offer a number of support options to Partners:

1. You always have a dedicated case manager for each job. If you need help at any point, request support directly from the job in Workcenter so your message is tied to the right job and routed faster.

2. Join the Xometry Community to participate in discussions, technical guides, webinars, and events in your area. Plus, join our daily Zoom office hours.

3. We use engineering experts on the front end to ensure DFM on every job before it’s made available to Partners.
